Sala Rociera Polaroids. July 3, 2006

July 3, 2006 9:32am

Got up this morning and got my doppio fix using my housemate's fancy espresso maker. Mmmm! I came across the Polaroids laying on the table in the kitchen since Saturday night. Eventually these will go up on our photo wall, but in the meantime you can enjoy them here.

Special thanks to Jill Hatzai for bringing da camera and taking some pics!

Moments after publishing this blog entry, I chatted online with my friend Soheila. Here are some of her comments:

" I like the fact that everybody uses their talent and practice their work in occasions like the Sala Rociera. I talked with couple of students and found an interest in forming a very informal class at the Sala Rociera in order to learn the rest of the coplas ....I might suggest this at the next one"

Excellent suggestion Soheila!

I've spent a nice time here
thanx

Yes! It's a super idea to have a sevillanas dance lesson prior to the juerga!! It would be a great icebreaker to get the party started and to get the shy dancers to come up and dance. Also, it could bring in the flamenco aficionados and the curiosos who have yet to try the dance. Can't wait for the next rociera ;)
