It's me Miguelito keeping you informed of the latest flamenco events for the Washington DC area. Here's what's coming up for January and February 2007:

Saturday January 27, 2007 9:30pm
Sala Rociera flamenco party at the Pink Flamenco
Basically a Sevillanas/rumba party. This is a perfect opportunity to practice your Sevillanas with different partners in a fun atmosphere. Typically, we do Sevillanas "line dancing." Also, dance students are encouraged to try out their flamenco dances with the guitarists (see pic below). Miguelito and other professional-level guitarists will be there. Student guitarists, cajon players

LATEST NEWS: Just heard that after almost 14 years, Jaleo will be cancelling their Sevillanas shows indefinitely starting next week. This Saturday Jan 20th at the Jaleo Crystal City 2250-A Crystal Dr Arlington, VA will be the last time. Call 703-413-8181.
